Sunday, January 30, 2005throttle stop createdSo, I made the throttle stop. Yay. Pics here. It's strong and adjustable. I need to trim the bolt a bit, but other than that it's good. Home depot racing league, here I come. I also fashioned a nut on the end of the throttle cable so I could make my own length and not worry about using one with ends on it. I also figure out that if you dab the end of the cable in super glue, it won't fray. Which is key because the cable kept fraying on me. I decided I didn't need a return spring...because I already have one. I have one on the carbs and one on the throttle petal. So I'm good, that's all you need. This week, I go to Autozone and pick up some gasket sealer. Then I get to start putting it all back together. w00t! |
